 I have experience in career counseling and in administering several high quality career assessments. You may seek the services of a career counselor to help you with various issues. People usually seek a career counselor or career coach for one of the following reasons:
1. Dissatisfaction with their current career. They do not like their current career path and want to explore other jobs or career paths.
2. Job Search Strategies. They are not getting job offers by their current job search strategy. I help clients develop job search strategies that have been proven to be productive.
3. Career Transition & Career Exploration. They may be thinking of a career transition or more education. Others may be exploring career and education options, as they get ready to enter a university, junior college, or technical school.
4. Job Search burnout. Many people have been looking for jobs for several months without success. They may feel like throwing in the towel. This can and often does affect a person’s mood and self-esteem. Whether or not changes are made in their current job search strategy I provide, support, encouragement, and accountability to help these individuals continue their job search.
